Are You Having Honda Odyssey Automatic Transmission Problems?
We continue to get many calls from people who are having problems with their Honda Odyssey Transmission. Unfortunately, transmission problems with these family cars is very common from 1999 to 2001.These automatic transmissions came from the factory with a weak ball bearing with the internal assemble. Over time the ball bearing would break down and then spread bits of metal throughout the transmission. The fragments of the bearing would clog up the transmission fluid lines and would end up causing slippage in the gear shifts.
Frequently at higher speeds, the gears would not shift until the gas pedal was released causing the driver and passengers to experience a jerkey and unsafe feeling.
